Private Limited Company (LTD) – Limited Liability Company. The minimum number of directors and shareholders – one (can be a legal entity). The director and shareholder can be the same person. There are no requirements on the minimum of the share capital.
Public Limited Companies (PLC) – Open Joint Stock Company with limited liability which may offer its shares in the open market. In the PLC must be a minimum of two shareholders and a minimum of two directors. The minimum share capital of 50,000 pounds.
